Our intentional approach to landscape design involves utilizing native plants, bushes, shrubs, trees, perennials, and annuals with a specific purpose. By selecting primarily native plant (70-30) species specific to Eastern PA, we aim to rebalance our local ecosystem while crafting unique bird gardens that inspire nature.
Bob is a lifelong birdwatcher, a self-taught landscape designer, and an obsessive gardener. Originally from Hamilton, NJ, Bob met his wife of 25 years, Joy, in Philadelphia, and they have 2 adult daughters. We use the AEAA acronym, which stands for Awareness, Education, being in 'Awe' (developing an emotional connection to nature), and taking Action to foster native bird habitats. We excel at implementing our landscape design services in existing landscapes or from a blank slate. Bob was fortunate to have lived in Milan, Italy, after playing college basketball at Rowan University, and he attributes many of his design concepts to his time in Europe, inspired by places like the Boboli Gardens and Bardini Gardens in Florence.
